Belly dump trailers (also referred to as bottom dump trailers) is a type of semi-trailer that has a pneumatic gate mechanism located at the bottom of the trailer that allows material within the trailer to exit out of. Gate controls on the side of the trailer (or sometimes installed within the cab of the truck) allow you to open and close the gates, ultimately controlling the speed at which the material exits the bottom of the trailer. With a number of gate options available, you are able to spread in a variety of different patterns.
